May 4, 2013 - Pups are born!
May 6, 2013 – All of the pups still have their eyes closed and they're all sweet and cuddly right now. Hypo is a lighter shade of blonde and I think she's going to be a real beauty.
May 15, 2013 - All of the pups have their eyes are open now! Hypo is inquisitive and curious about the world around her. Don't her name fool you... she's actually very mellow at this stage.
May 19, 2013 – Hypo and her littermates received their temporary names today and their first collars to help us keep them all straight! Hypo is wearing a gray collar. Our family got together and tried to come up with a theme to name eleven puppies. Believe it or not this is no easy chore! In the end we decided on naming them based on military call letters. After all, Cadence, their mom, was named while living at the army base at Fort Drum, NY. And, Comrade, well, that just seemed fitting that her "mate" should be her comrade as they would say in the military!
May 23, 2013 – Hypo is playful and sweet but also one of the calmest pups in the litter. She's a little angel pup!
May 31, 2013 – Hypo continues to have one of the sweetest temperaments of all the pups. She's laid back and calm yet playful at times. I have a feeling she will not only be a beautiful pup but also a gentle kind soul. Anyone would be happy to own a pup like Hypo. But please... change her name! I didn't like the name Hypo but in reviewing the military call letters it was a choice between Hotel and Hypo so we chose the latter! She deserves a more angelic name!
June 7, 2013 - Tomorrow the pups will be five weeks old. Perhaps it's that silly name... no, I'm just kidding. I've only begun to let people know about the pups. She has many times been in the final two for folks choosing a puppy. I have no doubt that she will find her way into the heart of family who will love and cherish her forever.
June 7, 2013 - UPDATE This afternoon Hypo found her forever home with Calvin. I am absolutely thrilled that she will be going to a couple who will obviously love and cherish her. She's one lucky pup!!!
June 9, 2013 - I'm so glad that Calvin has decided on a new name for Hypo. From this point forward she will be known as Kara Angelina. The name Kara means friend and there is no doubt she will be a life long loyal friend. She's deserving of such a beautiful name! I absolutely love it!!!
