May 4, 2013 - Pups are born!
May 6, 2013 – Her eyes are closed and she’s so sweet and cuddly. From what I can see she is going to be a very pretty Golden Retriever. She is a lighter shade of blonde.
May 15, 2013 - Bravo’s eyes are open! Over the past few days I could see them beginning in the corners but now they’re fully open.
May 19, 2013 – Bravo and her littermates received their temporary names today and their first collars to help us keep them all straight! Bravo is wearing a tan collar. Our family got together and tried to come up with a theme to name eleven puppies. Believe it or not this is no easy chore! In the end we decided on naming them based on military call letters. After all, Cadence, their mom, was named while living at the army base at Fort Drum, NY. And, Comrade, well, that just seemed fitting that her "mate" should be her comrade as they would say in the military!
May 23, 2013 – Already you can see her personality emerging. Bravo is an even blend of playful and mellow – although I’d have to say she’s more often playful than mellow. Bravo is lively, fun and such a little love!
May 31, 2013 – Bravo is emerging as a beautiful light blonde puppy. Her personality is continuing in the same trend - playful, funny, lively and yet, can be quiet at times. She is going to make someone a wonderful family dog. I think she would do well with children to play with.
June 7, 2013 - Tomorrow the pups will be 5 weeks old. I can't believe how much they've grown in just a few short weeks. Bravo is so much fun. She plays and wrestles with her litter mates - she has the cutest little bark!
June 8, 2013 - Bravo has found new parents, a young couple, Cheryl & Justin! Cheryl already chose her new name and from this point forward we will call her Emma. Such a pretty name for such a pretty pup!
